What is Qurban?
Derived from the Arabic root meaning "to get close," Qurban (Korban) is a profound act of worship performed to draw nearer to Allah (SWT). It is a time-honored tradition that combines spiritual devotion with social responsibility.

The Ritual
This act involves the slaughtering of livestock—specifically goats, sheep, cows, or camels—during the blessed days of Eid-ul-Adha and the three days of Tashriq (11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah).
